DrupalCon Scholarship Application Deadline is December 1 - Act Now!

If you’re an active Drupal community member who would like to go to DrupalCon Chicago, but cannot afford to attend the conference, now is the time to apply for a scholarship!

Scholarships are provided to those deserving individuals whose presence at DrupalCon is important to the health and growth of the Drupal community. We believe strongly that every member of the Drupal community should have the opportunity to attend DrupalCon, which is why DrupalCon Chicago will have more scholarships available for deserving attendees than ever before.

In addition to the pool of funds specifically earmarked for scholarships, we’re also providing opportunity for sponsors to fund scholarships, as well as adding the $100 discount for speakers whose ticket is already paid for by a sponsoring company or organization to the scholarship pool.

All recipients will receive free admission to DrupalCon Chicago, and some will have travel expenses and accommodations in the Drupal Tower covered as well. Some scholarship recipients may be asked to volunteer or provide other assistance for the conference.

The deadline to submit your application is December 1, and we will begin notifying recipients starting December 8. All scholarship recipients will be announced on January 3. The scholarship timeline has been moved up from previous DrupalCons to ensure that all recipients have sufficient time to make arrangements, including those who may need to obtain a visa to attend DrupalCon.
