Monetizing Portable Drupal applications

This session will benefit from the experience acquired by xceedia limited which is the presenter’s company, in creating portable Drupal applications which clients have been able to successfully deploy either on single-user computers or on corporate intranets.
A developer might want to create portable Drupal sites for a variety of reason such as (1) to demonstrate a work in progress (2) to create boilerplate applications for quick reconfiguring to multiple users, (3) to create browser-launched applications for local intranet use. There may be several other reasons.
This session will examine the reasons, advantages, methods and challenges of portable applications. It will also look at the various ways of monetizing portable Drupal applications, drawing reference from projects already executed by xceedia limited.
