Time: Monday, March 7 from 9:00am - 5:00pm
Coffee and registration starts at 8:30am.

Location: Gleacher Center, Room 240
(Gleacher is cross the street from the Sheraton Chicago at 450 North Cityfront Plaza Drive)

Course Description:
Work on websites or applications intended for people who are not like you? How do you make something that they really want?

You have two important boxes to tick: make something useful, and make something usable.

Find out what good designers do to make sure that they’re designing websites and applications that have functionality and content that appeals to their audience, designed in a way that is easy to use.

We’ll do research, analysis, design and usability testing on a real project brief and you’ll take home techniques and experience that you can apply to your projects immediately.

This is a workshop for anyone who makes or helps to make decisions about what goes into a project and how it’s designed. No design or usability knowledge or experience required.
