The Drupalcon Chicago theme is very nice. Does anyone know what is the best theme or blueprint to use as a starting point for creating a theme like it?

Extending OG 7

With the OG 7 session being cancelled, I'm guessing there may be some of you who still want to talk about Organic Groups for 7. I can go over some of the basics of groups setup if that is needed, but I'd really like to hear from those who are interested in using OG beyond just a standard installation with panels. Anyone else interested in harnessing the api to build custom group functionality, discussing how to use core hooks for group actions, or extending views integration?

Would love to talk to folks who are using or interested in these tools about where things are going in Drupal 7. What are your dreams for the future of theming on D7?

Easier configuration? Grids and more grids? Better Panels integration? Portable skins? Context module support? Sub-theme generator? Downloadable design patterns? Improved accessibility? Mobile? GUI-based styling?

We have some ideas but want to hear as much feedback as possible at this stage, while things are still malleable for D7.

Any hot topics or preferences for scheduling?

Adding Proprietary Video to you site

I'm interested in learning about adding proprietary commercial videos to a Drupal site. From the research I have done this usually means self hosting either through my site host or a cloud connection. Free video hosting like YouTube usually requires giving an unlimited license, which I'm not willing to do.

I'm interested in discussing how this might all work with Flowplayer or some other player arrangement.

I'm open to investigating ideas and learning what others do.

Geospatial Search with Apache Solr

How to utilize Apache Solr to handle geospatial searches. Discussing installation of Apache Solr, modifying the solrconfig.xml and schema.xml to work with Solr 1.4 as well as integrating searching by postal code with Location and Apache Solr Views.
