DrupalCon Session Schedule Announced

The DrupalCon Chicago organizing committee is pleased to announce that the final session schedule is now available! This list includes more than 85 sessions representing the full breadth and depth of the Drupal community’s knowledge and expertise.

DrupalCon Chicago will be held March 7-10, 2011, and will feature content in six session tracks, including design and user experience, coding and development, implementation and configuration, theming, business and strategy, and community. Sessions are targeted at users of all levels, from those new to Drupal to the most seasoned veterans of the community.

These sessions join the previously announced keynotes by Dries Buytaert, Clay Shirky, and Jared Spool, as well as a wealth of content that will be offered via pre-conference training sessions, the exhibit hall Day Stage, Birds of a Feather sessions, Core Conversations, sprints, and more.

About Time!!

I'm excited!

Core conversations?

Schedule looks great! Thanks. :D

I didn't see any mention in the schedule nor in this blog post about the core conversations track. Is that happening during the conference, or the sprint day, or..?

Core Conversations still being scheduled

The Core Conversations content is still being scheduled; the tentative plan is for these sessions to occur during the afternoons of some or all of the regular session dates, as well as possibly during the morning of the post-conference sprint. Additional details will be announced in the next week or two.

I was poking around the

I was poking around the schedules yesterday because Stéph and I actually didn't know we were presenting. According to the other schedule, the core conversations is the same day as the sprints.

THat one is listed under the menu as Event Schedule. It is a little confusing to have the "Schedule" and then have the separate "Event Schedule".

Lin, I apologize that you

Lin, I apologize that you didn't receive a notice letting you know that your session was accepted; it was added at a very late date, and we did not have the opportunity to notify you before the session schedule was published. Look forward to receiving the official notification and additional information later today.

As mentioned in my reply to Angie above, Core Conversations are still being scheduled, but are currently tentatively planned for both the afternoons of the regular conference dates as well as the morning of the post-conference sprint. We have updated the event schedule to more accurately reflect this.

Core Conversations

Core Conversation will now be held in the afternoons of the conference only and Friday will be for the Sprint alone.
