More info about the session
Following is more info about the session:
Adobe air is a great platform that lets web developers build desktop and mobile apps using their web dev skills.
wether you know javascript (including jquery), Flex mxml or Flash AS3 you can now build native apps and still use Drupal as a cloud back end provider.
In this session ill show some cool examples of what you can do with Air and Drupal integration - here are some appetizers:
1. control your Drupal site comments using a desktop client that can integrate with your native os (e.g. adding growl notifications of OSx)/
2. Build UI to control Drush commands.
3. Upload files to your site using a drag and drop (Think of your own custom vimeo uploader) using the awesome services module.
Hope to see you there.

Some overlap with another session
There seems to be an overlap with this session http://chicago2011.drupal.org/sessions/future-building-apps-drupal and either the focus or description needs to be updated or both speakers work together on this session.
