The application period for scholarships to DrupalCon Chicago is now closed. We will be notifying applicants over the next month whether or not they will be receiving a scholarship and announcing all recipients at the beginning of January.
The DrupalCon Chicago scholarship committee will reward deserving individuals who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. By attending DrupalCon, every scholarship recipient should benefit as an individual, as well as benefit back to the Drupal community.
All recipients will receive a basic scholarship, which includes one conference ticket. Some recipients may also have their travel expenses and accommodations covered.
The committee hopes to bring in more scholarship attendees to DrupalCon Chicago than any previous event. In addition, we want to make sure we communicate and engage our scholarships recipients to make not just the week of DrupalCon a fun and enjoyable experience, but before and after as well.
All scholarship applicants are also highly encouraged to submit a session before the session submission deadline in December and to volunteer to help at the conference.
