Beginner When you first get started with theming Drupal it can be a frustrating experience to encounter the giant $content-variable which not unlike a black hole swallows everything you ever held dear and wanted to influence in your design.
With Semantic Views, CCK and Contemplate there is hope even for us who weren't born with a terminal-prompt in our mouth or who do not have in-depth knowledge of all the variables and functions of the Drupal API. With these great tools we can be our regular relaxed selves while getting the job done of applying our CSS to Drupal.
(Based around Drupal 6)
Intended audience:
People in the process of learning Drupal. Hopefully this offers some valuable shortcuts. Basic understanding of the concept of Views is assumed.
