Contributing Without Coding

Contributing to Drupal can be done in a lot of different ways. What often comes to mind first when thinking of contributing to an open-source project is the coding of the software, but there are other ways to help that are just as important for making Drupal better technically and more well-known. As a non-coder, you can submit bug reports, translate documentations or text strings within the software; write, update or proof-read documentations; answer questions in the forums; or just spread the word. Your beginner's point of view is a valuable asset to the community.

We will also talk about what the Views Bug Squad is, how it helps to evolve the Views module, and how you can use the same ideas to help make your favourite module better.

Intended audience:

People who have a Drupal site and like the idea of open-source and contributing but are intimidated by words like "coding" and "bug fixes".
