RUNVSC is Tougher Than Leather

RUNVSC is a modular theming framework.

If that sounds strange to you, rest assured; you're in the majority. However, for the developers ("themers" included) who build heavy production sites -> we need to have structures that are flexible, re-useable and powerful -> which is what PPTs are designed to do.

Therefore, RUNVSC remains indicative of Pre-Process Theming (PPT) where almost everything is handled before the TPL. To this point, it embraces the Drupal 7 front-end philosophy and encourages:

• contributing "starter themes", as opposed to fully built themes, to assist front end developers (FEDs) getting closer to target, faster
• theme function repositories where FEDs can save and pinch plug and play solutions
• designing in a browser - showing clients mockups in their browser
• Agier theme development

This session will cover this philosophy as a reality; using a RUNVSC sub theme as a functional and practical use case proof of concept.
