Track:

Beginner

Working in the Drupal community can quickly gobble up an enourmous amount of time for all but the most well-disciplined contributors. What are the benefits and the costs of becoming a Drupal Rockstar? In this session, the results of a survey of Drupal community volunteers will reveal some of the best (and worst) practices of our most dedicated volunteers. You'll learn how Drupal contributors manage their workdays, how much time they devote to Drupal, and how they work in other (if any) interests they have. We'll cover how involvement can result in higher earnings and greater personal satisfaction - as well as a plethora of Drupal swag!

The session is meant to provide tips and guidance on how you can maximize your time when working in the Drupal community by providing a snapshot of an average Drupal Rockstar.

Intended audience:

The session is geared towards people already involved in the Drupal community and needing motivation to do more.
