"Think Drupal: The Site Planning Formula"

Track:
Implementation and Config
Experience:
Beginner

Learn to "think Drupal" when planning and building websites. We'll go from sketches and mock-ups, to a sitemap and functional plan, and finally to a full Drupal website, all while learning to "think Drupal".

The “Site Planning Formula" is a way to get you thinking about how your site works by considering three elements: content sources and inputs, user interaction and workflow, and display. By breaking a site down into these components, and mapping them to Drupal ideas and concepts, Drupal site building gets distilled into a single process.

Intended audience:

You should have spent enough time online to know what websites look like and have an idea of what kind of site you'd like to be building for yourself.
