Drupal e-Learning implementations are on the rise. However, Drupal does not claim to be a LMS and lacks most of the major functionality required to do so. Drupal therefore is arguably best suited to serve as the front-end that wraps a social community around a deeply integrated LMS.

Moodle is a leading Learning Management System (LMS). It has become very popular among educators around the world as a tool for creating online dynamic web applications for their students. This discussion will answer those questions and provide practical solutions for overcoming htem. It also will provide the Drupal Community with a general overview of LMS, SCORM compliance, and LMS as a service.
