Zen and the Art of Drupal

Robert Pirsig's groundbreaking book, "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", begins by posing the question "What is best?". ZMM uses a motorcycle and its rider to reveal and examine a rift between the aesthetic and technical perspectives.

So what is best? On the surface, it seems to depend on whether you take an aesthetic or technical point of view. The journey of the book leads to a third perspective, however, that Pirsig calls Quality. This talk revisits the central question of ZMM, but with Drupal as motorcycle and the community as rider.

Intended audience:

Developers, designers and users who struggle with the best way to approach, engage or work with Drupal and the community. Oh, and who have at least a tiny philosophical bent. A sense of humour wouldn't hurt, either ;-)
