March 10th, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Opscode Chef is an open source systems integration framework built to bring the benefits of configuration management to your infrastructure. We will look how people using chef can automate their Drupal installations, and we will use as a base the Drupal cookbook I've released a few months ago.
Based on other people experiences we can also talk about other configuration management systems like puppet, bcfg2, etc. and the challenges we faced implementing this.
