HOWTO: TileMill, Tilestream and Drupal OpenLayers

for those of us who cant make the BOF it would be awesome to understand how to actually use TileMill maps in Drupal

I guess we make a Tilestream server, using that a source for an OpenLayer map source in Drupal ?

some clues would be awesome...

otherwise, its not really a Drupal product (yet) and is more an ipad tool

https://github.com/mapbox/tilestream
https://github.com/mapbox/wax (a fork of openlayers_plus module)

when will a Drupal integration to TileMill be available ?

mbutil and more to come

You can use mbutil to export the MBTiles files to disk, and then put them on S3 or any web server, and use the TMS layer type in the OpenLayers Module.

BINGO, but...

thanks Tom !!!... easier than I thought

I was wondering about Tilestream and Wax, is that a more advanced and managed approach not quite ready for prime time? i.e. Wax as a fork of OpenLayers_Plus

have a good one
