March 10th, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM In my line of work, I have to interface with an Oracle database. Right now, I'm using the (obsolete) oci8 module, which has been supplanted by DBTNG, but these things will only allow me to connect to Oracle as an *additional* data source.
The Oracle Driver claims to allow you to use Oracle as your backend instead of using mysql.
I would like to talk to anybody else who has to interface with Oracle, and see what your experiences are. I'd be especially interested to talk to anybody who has experience with the Oracle Driver, and using Oracle as the Drupal backend.
