Open Atrium by Development Seed http://openatrium.com/ is much more than an "intranet in a box" if you are a developer and are willing to study its inner workings.
We'd like to discuss Open Atrium from a developer's point of view and see how people managed to customize and extend it in creative ways.
For example, we can share tips on how to use Open Atrium as a public portal too, how to make upgrade-safe changes (for example, customizing the profile), how to create and configure new presets other than the default "Public" and "Private" group. Very interested. I'd love to learn more about extending & customizing [now Phase 2's] Open Atrium distro... for example, I've long-desired a feature to cleanly integrate VCS repositories with OA for software teams, but have had neither the time nor the knowledge to achieve it. I know there have been a few efforts, but I've yet to see an awesome implementation.
