I seem to recall something regarding the possibility of child care during the conference. I'd love to bring my 5 year old to see Chicago and hang out, but expecting her to sit through sessions is a little much. Are any of the organizers working on child care, or is anyone else thinking the way I am?

While we will not be offering on-site child care, we will have a dedicated area for families and Drupalgangers, and we'll make sure that parents are aware of child care options and fun family activities near the Sheraton.

Family Lounge
DrupalCon Chicago will have a Family Lounge where DrupalCon attendees with children, significant others, spouses, and companions of attendees can gather away from the hustle and bustle of the conference itself. The room will be outfitted with a TV, DVD player and comfortable furniture.
The conference will not be providing childcare; we recommend that folks who need a sitter use http://www.sittercity.com/
