Development methodologies in product companies

Let's talk about how we use Agile, Scrum, Kanbaan, or whatever other catchy buzzword to organize ourselves, enjoy the work and deliver quality for our users (real or prospective).

Specifically, this BoF is for teams which are building Drupal products as opposed to teams which are doing consulting work for clients building websites.

Please throw out agenda ideas, here is mine:

2 hrs (there are a lot of us, so it will likely take awhile to have everyone speak).

6 or 7 10 min lightning talks, covering your process. Here are some questions I'd like answered:

• What are you building?
• Team size
• Sprints? If so how long?
• Tools? JIRA, unfuddled, video conferencing for remotes, spreadsheets, index cards, etc.
• How do you handle community contributions? Dedicated time for engineers to hack on their own accord?
• QA and automation, how do you test?
• How do you learn as a team to improve future iterations?
• How do you handle support requests vs new features?

General Q+A perhaps breakout groups if we're too large to have a fluid conversation.

I'd also like to come away with a resource for other companies to use. Perhaps this is the start of a group which develops that. If anyone has any ideas on how to spread general knowledge and best practices, I'm all ears.
