My understanding is that getting Oprah tickets is pretty tricky.
First you need to become a member of her site at oprah.com. Reservation requests open up about a month in advance and are announced at http://www.oprah.com/oprah_tickets.html - tickets are then given out randomly to a subset of everyone who applied.
You can also sometimes apply for last-minute tickets if you have a story to tell that matches the show's topic of the day.
My guess is that Oprah probably won't announce her March schedule until sometime after the first of the year, but she typically tapes two shows a day during her spring taping sessions.
