Experience:
Intermediate Views are a powerful way to display specific subsets of your content. From a simple list of all nodes in a single content type to a complex collection of related information, each step will be explained so you can easily repeat the strategy in your own views.
Problem statement:
- You want to be able to filter content in different ways (arguments) and create pages with dynamic URLs
- You want to be able to display other related information (relationships) with each node result
Solution:
- Learn a systematic way to create ALL views in the GUI
- Learn what arguments are and how to use them
- Learn what relationships are and how to use them
- Learn why you should export your Views to code
Intended audience:
This session is intended for people who already know how to create a basic View but are looking for more ways to get the data they want.
