Five Simple Steps to Designing an End-to-End Experience

Track:
Design and UX
Experience:
Beginner

Five Simple Steps is a small publishing imprint run by Mark Boulton Design. Born from a frustration with traditional publishing: their processes, production quality and generally terrible deals for authors, Mark published his own book in 2009. Ten thousand copies sold later, other authors wanted to get involved. Now, Five Simple Steps publishes a broad range of titles on design.

This presentation covers how the imprint started and how Mark Boulton Design have obsessed over every detail of customer engagement; from the first purchase, to receiving the book in the mail. It's a walk-through of designing an end-to-end experience.

Intended audience:

Designers, UX, Business people, Entrepeneurs
