Learn how we helped Orca Interactive to connect their TV based social network to the greatest social network on the web - Facebook.

Compass is a content discovery (recommendation) engine for TV spectators, which is integrated into the boxes supplied by ISPs and broadcasters.
It's uniqueness is it's built-in social network, which allows people to share recommendations through their TV sets.

Using Drupal as a middleware, we were able to connect Compass and Facebook, in a way which now allows users to tag programs on their TV, and have these recommendations propagate to their FB friends!
Moreover, users can invite their friends to join Compass through FB, recommend on programs and films through facebook, and watch these recommendations on their TVs...

Google and Apple TVs are not quite here yet, but I'll show you how you can already communicate with TVs, and bring all the web's goodies to us, couch potatoes :)
