Any time remaining will be spent on Q&A.

Intended audience:

This sounds very similar to http://chicago2011.drupal.org/sessions/developing-drupal-windows-machine

Perhaps the two of you could get together and merge into one uber-session?

This session will focus on...

Sounds like there are some similarities.

However, this session will focus on:
1. Getting the Virtual machine setup with CentOS. This is very important, as most major servers are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It’s critical to get your development environment as close to the production environment as possible.
2. This session will advocate sharing the code directory through Samba or VirtualBox. We’ll go over the pro’s and cons of using Samba and VirtualBox’s file sharing feature. As well as how to set that up.

You want to TRUST your production environment to Red Hat, your job depends on it!
Developing in Ubuntu leaves room for errors, as it's a totally different environment.

Leave nothing to chance.
