Note: We use Drupal 6. Sorry!
Module list update
Panels and Chaos Tools Suite were not used in the presentation, but I highly recommend these modules to manage contextual information on your site (and for example send off arguments into Views).
Instead, the Views Attach module was used – a very nice replacement for Page manager (ctools). But don't use that as an exuse for not learning Page manager + Panels!
