I expect there will be a lot of interest in gatherings about HTML5. I could see several at least:
- A code sprint for HTML5 Tools and HTML5 Base.
- An overall "What is HTML5?" discussion/introduction.
- A discussion of people's favorite ways to do HTML5 Video & Audio, debate about modules and technologies, etc.
I plan to schedule the first one.... who wants to plan the others? What else might be good BoFs about HTML5?

HTML5 and semantics
RDFa 1.1 and HTML5 are still very much drafts at this point, but it does not hurt to look at what is (or will be) possible to accomplish with them. What applications do people what to see emerge from combining HTML5 and RDFa, how feasible it is, what's missing in Drupal to achieve them, etc.

There's lots of HTML5 & WAI-ARIA that can be implemented and can improve user experience even though they are still draft.
We need to start working with this in D7 so that we have the answers worked out for D8.

Interested too...
Both UI form elements (such as date picker and form validation) and client-side memory elements (such as local storage > sessions and sql-in-browser > server sql) and the ramifications of geolocation are interesting topics. Are we moving the web from the server to the client side, from persistent online access to possibly a usable offline web in some (mobile) ways?
Looking forward to hearing the good and bad of everyone's experience and thoughts for D8.
