Media Browser Plus

which is supposed to replace the current Media Library with a new fancier version supplied by the media browser plus. Be sure to use this version:

I'm in!
Just started setting up a Drupal 7 site which I'd like to work cross-browser (i.e. inc my iPad ;).
I've been trying out the media module, the video module, and videojs - happy to help push things forward in any way I can. I'll be using views and panels so a vote there too if I gather from above that there's issues there.
Media to Video module integration
Won't be there in person, but would like to see any discussion regarding http://drupal.org/node/1070510, http://groups.drupal.org/node/129259 which I have started. I have already discussed about this with Jacob and we can get some powerful hands get-together for this.
Remove media entity in favor of altering the file entity
Doubt that's doable in a single sprint, but it's the right way to go ultimately, maybe we could investigate this and get a list of issues toward making it happen created during the sprint?
Also, page_manager support is pretty freaking epically important.

I'm actually really big on
I'm actually really big on Kris's suggestion. We wrote media at a time when that didn't exist. I think we can get there. I'm down to prototype it w/ a couple others and get the ball rolling even if we don't get a git push.
I'm thinking a nice way to do this would be to split into groups of 2-4 and tackle stuff. I wish I had more time to organize, but if people can post links to issues which could have meaningful movement in an hour or two, please go for it.
Improved media references
Hi,
As in http://drupal.org/node/1034034, I would love it if some work goes into improving the media reference field.
I would love to be able to tag on extra data on the reference. Most of the work is there already, as the field schema already have a serialized field for adding meta-data to the link. This information, however, is overridden in the field-formatter.
Sadly I'm not a DrupalCON so I can't offer to do more myself, besides the (apparently broken) patch, I've created in the issue-queue.
I hope I'm not the only one who can see a point in having meta-data on the link-level of a reference :)
